A microchip carries a unique number. If a lost pet is found and scanned, the number can be checked against the keeper details on its registered database. We can chip your pet and explain what you need to keep up to date.
In England, dogs must be chipped and registered by eight weeks and cats by 20 weeks, including indoor cats. The registered keeper is responsible for keeping contact details current.
